Before You Reserve Your Moment

1. Deposit and Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and secure ALL bookings (aside from Room Decor which must be paid in full).
    No booking is confirmed until the deposit is received by LA PROMESSE

  • The remaining balance is due at the completion of the service.
    Failure to remit payment by this deadline constitutes a material breach.

  • All prices are exclusive of service fees, travel fees, after-hours fees, or surcharges unless stated otherwise. Card processing and platform fees may apply.

 
2. Refund Policy

  • All payments including deposits are strictly non-refundable.

  • Refunds are not issued for cancellations, venue restrictions, weather, or circumstances beyond control.

  • Goods, décor, and staffing are allocated upon booking; refunds are not possible.

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • One (1) reschedule permitted with at least three (3) days’ written notice.

  • New date must occur within thirty (30) days and is subject to availability.

  • Less than three (3) days’ notice may require a new deposit.

 
4. Client Satisfaction & Concerns

  • Concerns must be raised while staff are present.

  • Adjustments will be made when reasonably possible.

  • No refunds or credits once staff depart.

 
5. Unforeseen Circumstances

  • Emergencies reviewed case-by-case.

  • Non-monetary credit may be issued; no cash refunds.

 
6. Client Responsibilities & Site Requirements

  • Client handles venue reservations, permits, and permissions.

  • Indoor spaces must be clean, clutter-free, and event-ready.

  • Airbnb/hotel access (codes, keys, concierge clearance) must be secured by Client.

  • Adequate load-in access required; stairs or distant parking may incur fees.

  • Client must ensure required setup time and clear dimensions.

  • Power must be available if electrical items are used.

 
7. Weather & Outdoor Conditions

  • Client must provide an alternate indoor/covered location.

  • No refunds or credits for cancellations due to weather.

  • LA PROMESSE may modify layout for safety.

 
8. Décor, Damage, and Restrictions

  • Client is liable for damage, theft, or loss of décor.

  • No attaching items to restricted surfaces without approval.

  • Prohibited items include open flames, glitter, or venue-restricted materials.

 
9. Timing, Delays & Overtime

  • Setup/strike windows are defined in advance.

  • Client-caused delays may incur overtime charges.

  • Re-delivery or second trips incur additional fees.

 
10. Cancellation by La Promesse

  • If LA PROMESSE, a full credit or full refund is provided (sole remedy).

 
11. Media Use

  • Client grants permission for event photos/videos unless opting out.

 
12. Acknowledgment

Submitting payment confirms agreement to all terms.
